Angels could get Anthony Rendon back

The Los Angeles Angels they could count on the return of Anthony Rendon by the end of the 2022 Major League season.

The player left the diamonds in June to undergo surgery. However, the third baseman’s good progress would allow him to see action sooner than expected.

The major leaguer recently expressed his desire to be able to play before the end of the season and stressed that he is undergoing the relevant rehabilitation process to return to the post.

“I was going to push myself to come back this season as soon as possible. Whether we’re on the hunt or we’re not on the hunt,” Rendón said in an interview for the Los Angeles Times.

“I think it’s still a possibility (to return to the lineup),” added the player in his statements.

The Angels currently sit in third place in the American League West with less than 16 games remaining in their season.

Anthony Rendon made it to just 45 games this year before undergoing surgery to repair a tendon in his right wrist. In that span he posted a .228 batting average.
