Biden adviser Brian Deez discusses future of “liberal world order”

A video of Brian Deez, director of the National Economic Council, discussing the “liberal world order” in relation to gas prices, has gone viral online, garnering millions of views.

In the video, Deez is answering questions about a recent video in which Biden answers a question asked about an increase in the cost of living due to the war in Ukraine.

Right-wing commentators and Republican politicians have shared their anger over the interview on Twitter.

During a NATO summit in Madrid this week, President Joe Biden was asked about the rise in the cost of living due to the war in Ukraine, who inquired: “Expecting American drivers and drivers around the world to pay How fair is the premium for this war?”

“As long as it takes,” Biden replied.

Deez was being interviewed by CNN’s Victor Blackwell on Thursday when asked about Biden’s comments. Blackwell asked Deez what he would say to families who have been struggling to pay high gas prices for “months, if not years.”

“Well, what you heard from the president today was a clear expression of the stakes it is about the future of the liberal world order and we have to persevere. But at the same time, what I would say to that family and Americans across the country is that your We have a president and an administration that is going to do everything in their power to blunt those price increases and bring those prices down,” Deez said.

Who is Brian Dees?

Brian Dees is an economic and political adviser who currently serves as the 13th Director of the National Economic Council under Joe Biden.

This is not his first White House role, as he served as a special assistant for economic policy under Obama, and in 2015 he was deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Prior to his role under Biden, Deez was the global head of sustainable investments at investment firm BlackRock.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Dees graduated from Middlebury College in 2000, and graduated from Yale Law School in 2009 as a doctor of law.

Republicans Criticize the “Liberal World Order”

As the video gained traction online, right-wing commentators and politicians in the United States shared their views on the “liberal world order”, wholeheartedly criticizing it.

Marjorie Taylor Green, U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District tweeted that “inflation is causing money crunch for many people, especially seniors with barely a chance to buy food,” and added that “we will not pay for Biden’s liberal world order.”

Meanwhile, Senator Ted Cruz tweeted video clip and captioned it: “Totally out of touch.”

Stephen Miller, a senior adviser to former President Donald Trump, said, Claimed That the “liberal world order” is a “war against the working class and the middle class”.
