Manchester United have made a verbal offer to former Tottenham Hotspur attack midfielder Ericsson and are willing to hand him a two-year contract worth £150,000 a week, the Daily Star has reported.

Reports said the Denmark international would be ready to move to Manchester United if the Red Devils sign Frankie de Jong and Tyrell Malasia in the summer transfer window.

Both White and Magpie have been linked with Playmaker, who is currently a free agent after moving from Brentford.

According to The Times, Newcastle, Leicester City and Everton have made offers to Ericsson in the last month.

Leeds are among clubs interested in the 30-year-old, described by Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti as a “perfect midfielder” at the Ghana Soccernets in February 2020, CBS journalist Ben Jacobs said on The Dun Deal Show last month .

Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world and is ready to offer Ericsson £150,000 a week.

We don’t think Leeds would be willing or willing to pay that much money to a 30-year-old.
