WATCH: Evan Peters Stars in Ryan Murphy’s Immaculate Look at a Notorious Gay Serial Killer

“The True-Crime Story of a Gay Serial Killer Played by Evan Peters.” If that phrase is “Ryan Murphy!” doesn’t scream, so we don’t know what does.

Yep, the über-prolific producer/writer/director is firmly back in his wheelhouse with a Netflix series about the infamous Jeffrey Dahmer, the deceptively multi-titled DAHMER- Monster: The Jeffrey Demer Story, (Seriously, why does it have to be called “Dahmer” twice?)

Project reunites Murphy with long American Horror Story Pilar Peters donned wireframe glasses to play Titanic, the cold-blooded cannibal who often took gay men back to his apartment to kill them.

Dahmer rose to infamy following the revelation that he had killed and ate at least 17 people between 1978 and 1991. Demon It is said to be largely told from the point of view of his victims.

Suffice to say, this is likely to be a tough watch. But it looks like there’s more to Murphy & Co.’s mind that’s forcing us to watch Asphalt’s gruesome killing spree. Richard Jenkins is also pictured (step brother) and Penelope Ann Miller (Kindergarten Police) as Dahmer’s parents, Molly Ringwald (pretty in Pink) as his stepmother, and the great Niecy Nash (Renault 911!) as her suspicious neighbor Glenda Cleveland. Longtime Murphy collaborator Ian Brennan is among the show’s executive producers, as is Janet Mock, who also set to write and direct the episode.

Although the project was announced in 2020, Netflix just announced that the series is coming sooner than anyone thought. , all episodes of DAHMER- Monster: The Jeffrey Demer Story Ready to premiere on September 21.
